Trillium Place Interior Renovations

Benchmark Construction partnered with Tandem Living to complete renovations at Trillium Place, a continuing care home.

The front entrance was renovated to be a more welcoming and modern space. A new lounge area, cafe, and dining area were created, and existing administrative offices were modernized.

Public corridors throughout the first floor received new flooring, ceiling tiles, wallpaper, and paint.

The campus’ Chapel is also being renovated to better serve the residents.

Challenges throughout the project include several material procurement issues that caused delays. Existing conditions have also prevented several structural items from being completed per original drawings. To remedy this, the Benchmark team has worked closely with the design team to find innovative solutions to keep the intent of the original design while working with the site’s conditions.
