Responsibilities:

Constructs, erects, installs, repairs, demolishes, and disassembles structures and fixtures
Exhibits excellent carpentry skills providing an accurate, high quality, end product
Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, building plans and shop drawings to prepare project layout and determines dimensions and materials required.
Layout of footers and foundations
Framing and door frames
Interior and exterior finishes

Is this you?

3 or more years of experience required via on-the-job training, vocational school or technical college, or formal apprenticeship program.
Ability to read architectural, structural and site blueprints and associated shop drawings.
Ability to act on complex verbal or written instructions in the English language.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.

Estimator Lancaster, PA

Responsibilities:

Perform value added cost analysis to establish construction project budgets
Prepare conceptual cost models
Final bidding and purchasing
Perform detailed digital quantity take -offs for assigned divisions
Reconcile potential subcontractors and suppliers’ proposals with project requirements
Maintain bid and work schedules
Make budget presentations to clients and designers

Is this you?

Two-year technical degree and two years’ experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality focused
Ability to build strong relationships
Excellent communication skills

Laborer Baltimore, MD area

Responsibilities:

Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
General clean up as directed by superintendent or other team members.
Unload daily deliveries and keep them organized.
Maintain the property (pick up trash, mow grass, etc.) around our job trailer.
Maintain any Benchmark perimeter fencing.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace them using hand tools.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall administrative and technical management on construction projects from bid preparation through post construction.
Maintain and build the contractor-owner relationship
Understand/manage processes including proposal specifications, costs, permits, estimating, project start-up and monthly projection and payment applications.
Managing relationships with the owner, Conservation District, inspection agencies, architect, engineers, interior designers, facility staff and subcontractors/vendors

Is this you?

4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience with prior experience as a Project Manager
5 years construction experience and 3 years supervisory experience
High level of organization and excellent communication skills with an ability to influence
