The Fairfield Inn is a new hotel located in Bethlehem, PA. The four-story, 58,835 SF hotel features 110 keys and provides guests with a full range of amenities including a lounge, fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast, outdoor patio, guest laundry, and an on-site market.

Before construction could get underway, the project building pad had to be brought up to the required grade elevation. To accomplish this, the team dug 6-feet deep to remove unsuitable soil 10-feet around the building perimeter and then brought in outside suitable soil and compacted to meet load bearing requirements.

The building structure is comprised of a structural steel in the main lobby and canopy entrance, wood framing and fastening system (Simpson Strong-Tie) which requires extreme attention to detail. The building envelope is an exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) with aluminum windows and storefront along with simulated stone around the first floor.
