Mennonite Central Committee
The organizational headquarters and campus for Mennonite Central Committee started construction in May of 2001. The “Welcoming Place” consists of four guest houses and a village center, along with the creation of a village green. The village green provides a welcoming environment established around a village-type setting.
The guest housing consists of four 5,000 SF housing clusters, each able to accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 bedrooms. The village center is designed as a two-story building with roughly 7,000 SF of area per floor. The building includes a gathering hall, large assembly rooms, break-out rooms, children’s areas, public restrooms, storage, and a mechanical equipment room.
