Warehouse Addition

Dutch Gold Honey and Gamber Container constructed a new 100,000-square-foot facility to centralize its honey storage and allow additional capacity for Gamber Container. The new storage facility extends off the western elevation of the existing facility into the open field area adjacent to the loading areas.

The new facility is fully protected by a sprinkler system serviced by a 100,000-gallon on-grade water storage tank. The 75,100 square foot honey storage portion of the building will accommodate storage for 440 loads of honey. Each load contains approximately 60 55-gallon barrels of honey, which makes 1,452,000 gallons or 17,424,000 pounds of honey. Dutch Gold Honey packages more than 50 million pounds of honey annually.
