Benchmark announces several job changes

We are pleased to announce:

• Alyssa Kurtz has been promoted to Development Manager. Ms. Kurtz began her career at Benchmark in 2015 as Business Development Assistant before becoming a Business Development Associate in 2017. In this new role, Ms. Kurtz is responsible for supporting the VP of Acquisitions & Development on project business plans and the development process as well as supporting the VP of Market Growth on business development opportunities.

• Sammy Ben-Nasr and Alex Cortellessa have been promoted to Project Manager. Mr. Ben-Nasr joined Benchmark in 2016 as a Project Estimator. Mr. Cortellessa joined Benchmark in 2018 as an Assistant Project Manager. As a Project Manager, they will oversee the daily operations of select projects which includes coordinating field and administrative activities as well as ensuring that all parties involved in the construction process are working to serve the clients’ best interests.

• Eric Dunn has accepted the role of Assistant Project Manager. After joining Benchmark in 2016 as a carpenter, he quickly moved into the role of foreman in 2018. As an Assistant Project Manager, Mr. Dunn will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with overseeing the daily operations of select projects.
