

Fernecrest Independent Living Campus
Benchmark Real Estate partnered with Messiah Lifeways to develop a satellite independent living campus on an 85-acre greenfield site. Phase I of the project includes a 98,000 SF three-story apartment building with various community spaces, a fitness room, café, an outdoor terrace, and 75 single and duplex cottages. Campus amenities include walking paths throughout the property leading to the bordering creek, pavilions, and plenty of natural green space. In Phase 2, another three-story apartment building, 67 single and duplex cottages, clubhouse with fitness and amenity spaces will be constructed with the property’s repurposed historic barn materials will be added.
The project is scheduled to start in Fall of 2025
