Review all shop drawings and submittals, taking responsibility for all dimensional information required.
Regularly observes and inspects the work of his or her direct employees as well as that of the subcontractors, ensuring all quality standards are met including standards established by the Director of Quality Control.
Ensures the completion of all punch list work.
Administers Benchmark safety program and enforces all company rules and policies with employees and subcontractors. Recognizes job site hazards and makes appropriate corrections.
Supports post-award including descope meetings, turnover meetings, and project kick-off meetings, and assesses and allocates resources for full implementation of Safety and Quality Control programs.
Communicates and coordinates all work with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers, including shutdowns and interruptions with the Owner, as necessary.
Tracks and documents job site production, subcontractors’ scope of work, safety inspections, and construction schedule including three-week schedules
Actively participates in Superintendent, Owner job conferences, pre-installation meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and Safety Committee meetings
Is This You?
10 or more years of experience required via on-the-job training, vocational school or technical college, or formal apprenticeship program.
Must be able to read and interpret architectural, structural and site blueprints and associated shop drawings.
Must be able to receive, accept and act on complex verbal or written instructions in the English language.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Ability to use a laptop, tablet, or other electronic device for communication and to navigate Project Management software.
