Benchmark has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. The primary function of a Project Manager is to take ownership of the entire construction process. This includes providing overall administrative and technical management on construction projects from bid preparation through post construction while maintaining the contractor-owner relationship. The successful candidate will understand and manage processes related to the project including proposal specifications, costs, permit procurement, estimating, project start-up and monthly projection and payment applications. The successful candidate will also be highly skilled in managing relationships with the Owner, Conservation District, Inspection Agencies, Architect, Engineers, Interior Designers, Facility Staff and Subcontractors/Vendors.
A successful candidate must have 3-5 years’ experience with a four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Knowledge of construction, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to appropriately apply integrity and influence are a must.
