Project Estimator

Due to growth, we are seeking a full time professional Project Estimator to perform in a team-based environment working in the healthcare, senior living, higher education and commercial construction fields. The successful candidate will prepare, interpret and present project estimates ranging from $1-$40 million dollars, perform value-added cost analysis in order to establish construction project budgets, prepare conceptual cost models, and be responsible for final bidding and purchasing. Estimators are required to perform detailed digital quantity take-offs for assigned divisions, reconcile potential subcontractors and suppliers proposals with project requirements and maintain bid and work schedules. The majority of our projects are negotiated consisting of several cost models as well as final bidding and purchasing; select list competitive bids are also a job requirement.

Successful candidates must be able to manage multiple estimates/projects concurrently and work with multiple teams of estimators, project managers, superintendents and senior management. Developing and maintaining good relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors is a key competency for this position.

3-5 years’ experience as well as a 2 year technical degree is preferred.  Recent graduates will be considered.
