Benchmark welcomes newest team members
Brownstown, PA – Benchmark Construction welcomes six new employees to their team.
• Lauren Maxwell – Marketing & Communications Director
Lauren will be responsible for setting the direction for the company’s overall marketing strategy including branding, business development support, the proposal process, and community giving. Ms. Maxwell brings with her over 25 years of varied sales, marketing and communications experience. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Millersville University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. She spent the last seven years at Susquehanna Bank where she was responsible for managing the bank’s regional sales and marketing team.
• Ramsey Ben-Nar – Project Estimator
Ramsey will provide detailed takeoffs for projects being bid by the Estimating Department, as well as posting labor costs to these projects and soliciting subcontractors for bids. Mr. Ben-Nasr brings over 14 years of construction and estimating-related experience. He holds a Bachelors in Structural Design & Construction Engineering Technology from Penn State University. Mr. Ben-Nasr was previously employed with Jackson’s Window Shoppe as an Estimator.
• John Clemons – Project Manager
John will oversee the daily operations of select projects which includes coordinating field and administrative activities as well as ensuring that all parties involved in the construction process are working to serve the clients’ best interests. Mr. Clemons brings over 16 years of construction-related experience. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Wilmington University. Mr. Clemons was previously employed with Kinsley Construction as a Project Engineer.
• Corwyn Smith – Project Manager
In this role, Corwyn will oversee the daily operations of select projects which includes coordinating field and administrative activities as well as ensuring that all parties involved in the construction process are working to serve the clients’ best interests. Mr. Smith brings over six years of construction-related experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and is currently pursuing the Master of Project Management degree through Penn State World Campus. Mr. Smith was previously employed with E.R. Stuebner Construction Inc. and 11400 Inc. as a Project Manager.
• Cathy Hedge – Market Coordinator
Cathy will be responsible for managing all administrative and logistical elements of the work within the Healthcare market sector, supporting the Market Leadership in exceeding client expectations. Ms. Hedge brings with her over 20 years of varied communications experience. Ms. Hedge previously was the Owner/Designer of Tin Roof Designs.
• Cody Bost – Facilities Coordinator
Cody will assist and support the project managers in the coordination and management of the fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electrical sections of a construction or renovation project. Mr. Bost brings over 10 years of electrical construction experience. He is currently pursuing an engineering degree from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). Mr. Bost is a graduate of the ABC Keystone Chapter Apprenticeship Electrical program. Mr. Bost was previously employed with R.S. Reidenbaugh as a Foreman Electrician.
