Benchmark Construction announces two promotions

We are pleased to announce two important promotions within the organization.

  • Walt Taylor has been promoted to the role of Director of Estimating. While Taylor will continue to serve as the Market Executive of our Commercial/Specialty group, he will be taking on the added responsibilities of supporting our estimators across all markets including developing staff, standardizing and elevating our delivery systems, and providing the estimating resources required to support the company. Taylor began his career with Benchmark as a Project Estimator and recently celebrated his 10 year anniversary with the company.
  • William Lastinger has been promoted to the role of General Superintendent. His primary responsibility in this role will be to spend time on Benchmark job sites ensuring all projects are meeting our standards of execution. He will work closely with Benchmark’s Superintendents and Project Management staff to align the best personnel possible with the work underway and to have a global sense of manpower needs. Lastinger has worked in the construction industry for 26 years, the last 18 of which have been with Benchmark. In addition to his position at Benchmark, Lastinger serves as the Chairman of the Apprenticeship Committee for Associated Builders and Contractors Keystone Chapter and as the Vice Chairperson of the ABC National Craft Competition Committee.
