Andy Gilburg promoted to VP of Higher Education

 

Benchmark Construction has promoted Andy Gilburg to Vice President of its Higher Education market team. In this leadership role, Mr. Gilburg will be responsible for providing oversight to the performance of Benchmark’s Higher Education market, ensuring the success of projects within the market and performing business development for future growth.

Benchmark currently has two high profile Higher Education projects under construction. For Dickinson College, the 40,000SF High Street Residence Hall will house 140 students in a structure that promotes a live/learn environment. The 56,000SF Jeanne & Edward H. Arnold Health Professions Pavilion at Lebanon Valley College will be a state of the art academic facility that balances technically advanced learning environments with informal collaborative spaces that support both individualized and community learning styles. Both buildings are pursuing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

Mr. Gilburg attended Franklin & Marshall College and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management. He has been with Benchmark for three years and has over 13 years of construction-related experience.
