Independent Living Expansion

Benchmark has completed two significant projects at Presbyterian Senior Living’s Ware Presbyterian Village Community in Oxford, PA.

Vista Ridge, an independent living community included construction of a 31-unit Independent Living building, a community and dining pavilion and all associated site-work and infrastructure. The Independent Living building features eight different floor plans ranging from a 1,073 SF, one-bedroom unit to a 1,745 SF, two-bedroom unit. All apartment units feature internal access to secured lower level parking, covered balconies, and a geothermal HVAC system. The Dining Pavilion features a bistro, lounge/conversation areas, dining area, full kitchen, private dining area, auditorium/banquet room and catering kitchen. Phase 2 includes a 31-unit Independent Living building and all associated site work. In the third phase, three duplex cottages were constructed which are 2,677 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and finishes customized by the owner. In the final phase of the Vista Ridge campus, three additional duplex cottages are being constructed and are anticipated to be completed in summer 2020.

Westminster Place at Ware is a three-story, wood-framed apartment building offering 61 apartments – 31 apartments designated for low income seniors and 30 apartments available at market rates. The project was partially funded through Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA).
