The new three-story assisted living facility has 30 one and two-bedroom apartment units on the top floors and two additional two-bedroom apartments on the lower level. The upper floors each have a laundry area and country kitchen. The lower level features an open plan layout to maximize space including a dining room, living room, service kitchen, library, administration offices and a reception area. The large dining room has views of the entry courtyard and access to a covered porch. The full service kitchen next to the dining room includes a bar area that serves the large living room adjacent to the main entry and reception area. The library connects to a sun room and computer area. The building is connected to the existing health campus on all three floors via 50 foot window-lined connector link.

The aquatic center addition is connected to the assisted living building on the lower two floors and features a 23’ x 45’ lap pool, a 9’ x 12’ spa and a 1,400 fitness area with aerobics room, strengthening and cardiovascular equipment. The aquatic center, a key component to the entire campus, has its own entrance.

The dining addition for the dementia wing includes a dining room, kitchen and activity area. The addition is strategically placed in the dementia courtyard to take advantage of abundant natural light and views of the courtyard on three sides. Renovations to public and service areas of the demential wing are also included in this project.
