Applebee´s Neighborhood Grill & Bar
Fast service was not just an Applebee’s marketing philosophy,
it was also a requirement to secure the construction contract for the restaurant. Benchmark was given
just 77 days to complete the 6,000 SF facility, so we had to hit the ground running.
Within 12 days of the notice to proceed, block work was completed and within 24 hours the roof was on and the building was in-the-dry. In order to maintain the rigorous schedule, as many as s12 Benchmark carpenters worked simultaneously on installation of custom oak millwork, which included window and door casing; stools and aprons; chair railing; column wrap; crown molding; baseboard; stair treads; paneled doors and cabinetry. Joints and miter cuts had to be precise to meet the exacting quality standards of the Owners, and Benchmark’s craftsmen did not let them down.
To the amazement and delight of the Owners, the project reached substantial completion in just 64 days.
