Benchmark Construction has exceeded all 41 ABC member contractors in number of awards won since 1990 when ABC began presenting Excellence Awards. Benchmark has earned 43 Excellence Awards and 33 Merit Awards for a total of 76 Awards won in the past 18 years. Benchmark was most recently honored at the annual ABC Excellence in Construction Awards Gala on Monday, July 14, 2008 where they added 5 Excellence Awards and 1 Merit Award to the list. The Excellence Award is the highest honor received from ABC for outstanding project results. The 5 Excellence Awards were won for the following projects completed by Benchmark: Lancaster Country Club, Lancaster General Hospital Executive Suites, Lancaster General Hospital First Floor Corridor Renovation, Lancaster General LLC Physicians’ Surgical Center, and The Westphal Group. The Merit Award was won for Regional Gastroenterology Associates of Lancaster.
