Benchmark Construction is pleased to announce that Richard Gill, Project Executive, has earned a Green Advantage Certification. In order to become Green Advantage Certified, he was required to complete a full day instructional course given by the Green Advantage Training Program. Mr. Gill then passed the Green Advantage Commercial Exam on September 22, 2008. The purpose of the Green Advantage program is to promote sustainable construction and real estate development practices by establishing a recognized certification standard for building-related practitioners working in the sustainable development field. The Certification allows customers to obtain Innovation points as part of their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification process. Benchmark is committed to providing their clients’ with more ecologically friendly and sustainable buildings.
