Tom Fasnacht will be representing Benchmark Construction Company and the Keystone Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors at the 2008 ABC National Craft Championships in Puerto Rico. Fasnacht placed first at the apprenticeship competition in conjunction with the ABC Keystone Construction rodeo in September to qualify for nationals.

The top three students with the highest GPA, from the ABC Keystone Apprenticeship class were invited to compete in the Construction rodeo on September 30th. The winner of that competition was then invited to compete in the National Competition in March 4 – 8, 2008.

Over the past eleven years Benchmark has sent seven apprentices to compete in the National Competition of the Associated Builders and Contractors. In 2004 a Benchmark employee placed third at the competition and brought home a bronze medal.
